On August 19, Yin Hong, Secretary of the CPC Jiangxi Provincial Committee, conducted an inspection tour in Jiujiang City. He called for thorough implementation of the gist of General Secretary Xi Jinping’s speech made during his inspection in Jiangxi, and for full execution of the decisions and requirements set out at the Eighth Plenary Session of the 15th CPC Jiangxi Provincial Party Committee. Yin Hong urged persistent reform and innovation, determination in overcoming difficulties, and creative approaches to implementation, so as to ensure the achievement of annual targets and the successful conclusion of the 14th Five-Year Plan (2021-2025).

The equipment manufacturing industry is a key pillar of Jiangxi’s industrial economy. During visits to manufacturing enterprises such as Liyuan Haina Technology Company and Jiangxin Shipyard, Yin Hong toured workshops and factory floors to gain a detailed understanding of their product R&D and market expansion efforts. Liyuan Haina, leveraging its strengths as a leading enterprise, has deeply engaged in the field of industrial power supplies, and has continuously expanded into emerging sectors through technological innovation. Yin Hong encouraged the company to continue increasing investment in scientific research, attract and cultivate more talents, strengthen technological research and development, and promote the integration of flagship products with new technologies and expand into emerging sectors, thereby enhancing its core competitiveness.
At Jiangxin Shipyard, which has accelerated its transformation and upgrading while producing a variety of ships, Yin Hong inspected ship products at the wharf. He urged Jiujiang to capitalize on its strengths as a major traditional manufacturing hub, focus on ship R&D, design, manufacturing, and supporting sectors, strengthen key enterprises, and actively pursue the development of new energy ships, so as to accelerate the high-quality development of the industry. Yin Hong expressed the hope that Jiujiang would strive to develop by making full use of its strategic location along the Yangtze River, accelerate high-end, intelligent, and green development of its manufacturing industry, and take the lead and act proactively in promoting the high-quality development of the Yangtze River Economic Belt.
Green intelligent computing is an emerging industry of strategic significance. At China Telecom’s Poyang Lake Intelligent Computing Center, Yin Hong observed on-site demonstrations of application scenarios empowered by intelligent computing, and learned about the center’s computing power, service capacity, and industrial base construction. He expressed hope that the center would seize opportunities to integrate more deeply into the “East Data, West Computing” hub system, further optimize computing power structure, enrich integrated applications, and accelerate the development of a province-wide green intelligent computing industrial base.
Yin Hong also called for efforts to strengthen digital and intelligent empowerment, promote the coordinated development of intelligent computing and artificial intelligence. He noted that specific scenarios should be taken as the starting point to drive the application of industry-specific large models, accelerate the integration of the digital and real economies, and foster and grow new quality productive forces.
The nuclear medicine industry holds enormous potential for future development. At the site of Tianhong Nuclear Technology R&D Center project, Yin Hong inspected the construction progress, listened to briefings on isotope production, the nuclear pharmaceutical sector and other related fields. He stressed the need to accelerate the project development, strengthen its full-chain planning of “research reactors, accelerator, isotopes, pharmaceuticals, medical services and health care”, promote the high-quality development of the nuclear medical industry, and actively seize new opportunities in the future health sector to gain competitive advantages.
Jiudong Dream Works, renovated and upgraded from the former Jiujiang Power Machine Factory, infused the industrial heritages of the old plan with new elements of modern commerce and cultural and creative industries. Yin Hong toured business premises such as bookstores, martial arts venues and restaurants to learn about their operations of different business forms. He urged efforts to explore and tap local cultural heritage as urban renewal progresses, and to continuously enrich business forms. Meanwhile, he called for efforts to promote the integration of culture, commerce, sports and tourism, and create more diversified consumption scenarios to meet new demands, so as to further invigorate Jiujiang city’s urban vitality and foster new areas of strong consumer activity.
During this inspection, Yin Hong stressed that the second half of the year is a critical period for accomplishing the annual goals. He called for all departments across Jiujiang city to act in line with the arrangements set out at the Eighth Plenary Session of the 15th CPC Jiangxi Provincial Committee, strengthen confidence in development and resolve to succeed, and boost enterprising spirit. He urged staying focused on the goals, and shouldering responsibility with concrete actions, further making up for deficiencies, advancing reform and driving development with full commitment, so as to ensure that all arrangements of the plenary session are fully implemented and deliver solid results. Yin Hong encouraged Jiujiang to make greater contributions to the Jiangxi Chapter of Chinese modernization.
