Jiujiang Included in First National List of High-Quality Outdoor Sports Destinations

On October 24, Jiujiang has been selected as one of China's first high-quality outdoor sports destinations under the project name "Active Mount Lushan · West Sea," making it one of the two locations in Jiangxi Province to be included in the national list. This recognition marks national-level endorsement of Jiujiang's outdoor sports industry and injects strong momentum into the city's integrated development of "sports + tourism."

Moving forward, in accordance with the guidance from relevant national authorities, Jiujiang will steadily and orderly advance the implementation of the high-quality outdoor sports destination project, fully leveraging policy support provided by the state. Additionally, the city will enhance safety oversight and emergency response systems, explore long-term operation mechanisms involving non-governmental entities, and strive to build a model for outdoor sports that promotes harmonious coexistence between humans and nature.
