Recently, the 2026 Jiujiang Cultural and Tourism Promotion Event was held in Qinhuangdao City, Hebei Province, kicking off a cross-thousand-mile partnership for mountain-and-sea cultural and tourism cooperation. Around 200 representatives from cultural and tourism authorities of the two cities, travel agencies and media outlets gathered together to exchange ideas on in-depth collaboration and jointly pursue high-quality cultural and tourism development.

Jiujiang City is bordered by the Lushan Mountain and Qinghuangdao City is bordered by the Bohai Sea. The two cities boast complementary endowments and solid foundation for cooperation. Prior to this event, a cooperation agreement had been signed between the two cities to facilitate mutual tourist exchanges. The upcoming direct flight route will further shorten the spatial-temporal distance and consolidate the foundation for integrated development of both sides. During this event, cooperation agreements were signed by travel agencies from both cities, marking the establishment of the long-term mechanism for tourist exchange and resource sharing. Meanwhile, the newly released preferential policies offer savings on tickets and accommodation, enhancing Jiujiang’s cultural and tourism appeal.

This event adopted a dual-line model of promotion conference plus commercial roadshow to comprehensively showcase the charm of Jiujiang. At the promotion conference, attendees enjoyed panoramic views of Jiujiang’s landscapes and characteristic cultural and artistic performances, feeling the beauty of Jiujiang’s scenic spots such as Lushan Mountain, Lushan Xihai Scenic Spot, Xunyang Ancient Town, etc. While the business roadshow integrated ancient-costumed NPC interactions and themed cultural and tourism fairs, combined with intangible cultural heritage delicacies and cultural and creative products, and adopted an immersive and youth-oriented form, thus allowing local citizens to get an up-close experience of Jiujiang’s folk culture and urban charm.

This event has laid a solid foundation for Jiujiang City to further explore the market of Bohai Rim regions. Through various measures such as expanding cooperation networks, implementing benefit-oriented policies, revitalizing cultural IPs, and integrating all-media marketing, Jiujiang City has continuously built up its urban brand of “Leisurely Lushan, Poetic Jiujiang”. All these has broadened channels for attracting tourists, promoted the transformation of cultural and tourism resource advantages into development advantages, and steadily constructed a new development pattern featuring cultural and tourism integration and all-round tourist attraction.
