Lushan City Empowers the Transformation and Upgrading of the Garment Industry

To address the fragmentation, disorder and weak competitiveness of its traditional garment industry, Lushan City has implemented a “urban-to-industrial park relocation strategy”. Local government has guided over 900 small down garments workshops to consolidate into 70 legal enterprises, which have centrally relocated to the high-standard and integrated industry-city park. In the park, a raw material testing center and a design studio have been set up to empower the industry. Meanwhile, the park offers round-the-clock one-stop services for resident enterprises, creating a responsive and efficient administrative environment that addresses industry challenges.

In the next phase, Lushan City will continue driving its traditional industries toward high-end, smarter and greener transformation, further strengthening the real economy underpinned by advanced manufacturing, and injecting strong new growth momentum into the city’s modernization drive.
