From the Arctic Circle to Mount Lushan: Regional Governor of Finland's Lapland Region Visits Jiangxi Again

Veiled in mist and clouds, the picturesque Mount Lushan bears witness to the enduring friendship between China and Europe. In this episode of Dialogue in Jiangxi, we head to Mount Lushan for an exclusive interview with Mr. Hannu Takkula, Regional Governor of Finland's Lapland Region. This is his second visit to Jiangxi. Captivated by Mount Lushan's breathtaking scenery and rich cultural heritage, he speaks highly of its unique charm and looks forward to paying another visit. On April 21 this year, Jiangxi Province and Lapland Region officially signed an agreement to establish friendly relations between the two regions. Over the past year, the two sides have maintained frequent exchanges across various fields, including tourism promotion and education cooperation, further strengthening the foundation for bilateral cooperation. During the interview, Mr. Takkula identified education, tourism and mining as the three most promising areas for future cooperation, and expressed his hope for deeper exchanges and closer cooperation between the two sides.
