Jiangxi Gongqingcheng: Boosting the Low-Altitude Economy as a New Growth Engine Takes Flight

In recent years, Gongqingcheng has gone all in on the low-altitude economy as a strategic emerging sector. With a strong talent base and extensive networks, the city has rolled out targeted business incentives—including industrial subsidies and tax breaks—and helped local companies tap into cross-border cooperation channels to open up new export routes.

The key to growing the low-altitude economy is getting the industrial chain to work together smoothly. To that end, local authorities have made private firms along the low-altitude supply chain a top priority. Leading players and key supporting enterprises are brought into platforms like the Federation of Industry and Commerce and the New Social Stratum Association, helping upstream and downstream businesses share resources and grow in sync.

As the first low-altitude economy industrial park in Jiangxi, the Gongqingcheng Low-Altitude Economy Industrial Park is now home to 23 companies, with a total output value of 460 million yuan in 2025.

"Our company was the first in Gongqingcheng to settle in this space. Back in 2020 when we got started, the low-altitude economy wasn't yet a big thing in China," said Wu Wenjian, Vice Chairman of the Gongqingcheng Federation of Industry and Commerce and President of Jiangxi Aoxiang Xingyun Technology Co., Ltd. Today, the company's products are sold in Jiangxi, Shanghai, Hunan, and other provinces and cities, and its annual output value reached nearly 70 million yuan in 2025.
