The foreign visitors immersed themselves in the fair, wandering through the bustling market, savoring local snacks, experiencing intangible cultural heritage crafts and truly feeling the unique charm of China’s century-old folk culture amid the vitality of local daily life.

Li Yun, a foreign guest from Cameroon, commented, “I’m delighted to visit the Mahuiling Temple Fair today. I have experienced the charm of this traditional folk event and gained valuable experiences. It reminds me of my hometown. We also have temple fairs where sell food and clothes.”
This year, Mahuiling Temple Fair has adopted a new model of “Temple Fair + Market”, which deeply integrates diverse business forms such as folk culture, trading of characteristic seedlings, and public employment services. It has attracted people from neighboring regions of Jiangxi, Hubei, Anhui and Hunan Provinces. Moreover, drawn by the unique appeal of its century-old folk customs, foreign friends came especially!
